Homeless (unhoused individuals)

  • Assist the unhoused with employment and temporary housing until permanent housing is found.
  • Assist with job searches & application preparation
  • Assist low to moderate-income individuals with job readiness
  • Adult education by assisting them with the process of getting their GED
  • Refer clients to SW Literacy Council
  • Program Requirements:
    • 4 day program for unemployed individuals
    • 2 day program for employed individuals
  • Breakfast 9:15am – 9:45am
  • Class begins at 10:00am

We provide essential services such as access to hygiene facilities, clothing, and nutritious meals, ensuring the basic needs of the homeless are met with dignity and respect.

Our organization offers job preparation and placement services, empowering individuals to gain employment and achieve financial independence, thereby breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Holy Ground provides temporary shelter to those in need, offering a safe and supportive environment while individuals work towards securing permanent housing solutions.

With a track record of rescuing over 200 individuals from homelessness and assisting others in finding temporary housing, our ministry demonstrates tangible results in reducing homelessness in Southwest Louisiana.
