Our Programs and Services

At Holy Ground, we are committed to serving individuals facing various life challenges, especially those experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. While our resources may be limited, we strive to make a meaningful impact through the following core programs:

Mind 2 Thrive Program

This program is designed to offer comprehensive support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and care. Through Mind 2 Thrive, we offer:

  • Temporary Housing: We help individuals find temporary shelter and work with them to secure more permanent housing solutions.
  • Job Preparation and Placement: We provide assistance with job searches, interview preparation, and readiness training to help individuals re-enter the workforce.
  • Educational Resources: By partnering with organizations like the Southwest Literacy Council, we help participants work towards their GED, further empowering them for future opportunities.
  • Basic Needs Support: From hygiene facilities to clothing and nutritious meals, we ensure individuals’ basic needs are met in a respectful and compassionate environment.

ALICE Initiative

The ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) initiative supports individuals who work hard but still struggle to afford the essentials due to high living costs. These individuals, including healthcare workers, educators, and service industry employees, often live paycheck to paycheck despite being employed.

  • Financial Advocacy: We advocate for policies that promote wage increases, affordable healthcare, and housing solutions that benefit ALICE households.
  • Direct Assistance: In addition to advocacy, we provide practical support such as access to emergency services, budget planning, and long-term financial stability resources.

Helping People Bounce Back

Life’s circumstances can be tough, but with the right support, recovery and stability are possible. Our programs are rooted in the belief that every individual deserves a chance to bounce back and succeed. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness, financial instability, or simply needs a helping hand, we work with them to overcome barriers and regain their footing.

Our holistic approach ensures that we not only address immediate needs but also look at long-term solutions. By offering temporary housing, job readiness, and access to educational resources, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives. For those struggling with financial hardships, our ALICE initiative helps them navigate these challenges while advocating for broader systemic changes.
